Customer Service & Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Customer Service & Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer support while managing accounts receivable functions, payment processing, collections, account reconciliation, and billing inquiries. This position serves as a key point of contact for customers and internal departments, ensuring accurate account maintenance and timely resolution of payment-related issues.

Responsibilities include:

• Post customer payments including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.
• Maintain and update customer account information.
• Assist with invoicing, billing, and account reconciliation.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status.
• Research and resolve customer account discrepancies.
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails and provide general customer support.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and perform data entry.
• Assist with filing and other administrative duties as needed.
