Accounting Clerk

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a service-oriented organization in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This position suited for someone who is organized, detail-focused, and comfortable managing both payables and receivables in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong data accuracy, sound accounting support experience, and confidence working with Quick Books and invoice processing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and prepare payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain customer billing records, apply incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances as needed.
• Enter financial information into accounting systems with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
• Reconcile account details and review transactions to identify discrepancies and support clean financial records.
• Use Quick Books to update account activity, track payment status, and assist with routine accounting functions.
• Organize and maintain invoice files and related records to ensure documentation is complete and easy to retrieve.
• Communicate with internal team members and external contacts to resolve billing or payment issues efficiently.
