Wycliffe Presbyterian Church seeks an energetic and talented candidate for a rewarding and diverse position.
The Church Office Manager position is critical in this small business environment, connecting and managing the flow of information among volunteer-led church ministries, community groups, and church leadership. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in an organization with purpose, as administration becomes an opportunity to join in service to all God's children.
The office manager will provide professional quality office support to the ministers, elders and other officers of the church in such a manner as to promote efficiency in the church office and to provide to callers and visitors assistance that is reflective of the spirit of Wycliffe Church.
General duties include opening and closing church office, greeting visitors, answering phones and email communication, facilitating good community relations. Clerical duties include maintaining databases and church files, producing communications publications and weekly worship bulletins. Financial duties include recording of basic financial data and accounting for church budget.
- Interpersonal communication ability a must; proficiency required in Microsoft Publisher, MS Office, and working knowledge of accounting software.
- Starting Salary at 40,000/year, with benefits.
