Foundation Administrative Assistant
Supports the ongoing operations of the Foundation with a focus on gift entry, office management, and donor correspondence. The Foundation Assistant is responsible for the scheduling of Foundation activities and events and assists Foundation team members with other projects as needed.
Affiliation with a non-profit helping with fundraising, special events and/or data entry is preferred. Experience with a recognized donor database application. Salesforce preferred but the following are also a plus:
- Raiser's Edge, Round Corner, Donor Perfect
This is a Hybrid position with office location at 1300 Sentara Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Standard Team hours are 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm. There are a few events per year that require Administrative assistance ( RSVP, Registration/badges, etc.) and could extend normal scheduled hours.
Education- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
- Three (
3) years of Administrative/Executive Assistant experience - Donor Database experience strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to Donor program and the Foundation Team
