Job Description
Provide senior-level records and information management support for USTDA’s Information Resource Center (IRC), including records management administration, FOIA support, records scheduling, records retention, file maintenance, and records compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain USTDA Central Agency Files and records databases
- Organize, scan, archive, retrieve, and track official Agency records
- Support records retention and disposition activities in accordance with NARA requirements
- Assist with FOIA request tracking, document coordination, and records processing
- Conduct records inventories and file clean-up activities
- Maintain records schedules and records management documentation
- Provide records management training and onboarding/offboarding briefings
- Coordinate records transfers and archive activities with NARA
- Develop reports and records management documentation
- Support Agency document flow and information management activities
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, information management, or related discipline required
- Minimum 10 years related work experience required
- Minimum 5 years records management experience required
- Experience supporting FOIA information management activities required
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills required
- Experience providing customer service and technical assistance required
- Microsoft Office Suite
- SharePoint and electronic document management systems
- Records management databases and tracking systems
- Scanning and electronic archiving systems
- FOIA tracking systems
- NARA records retention schedules and frameworks
- Information management systems and databases
- Experience creating and implementing records management policies and procedures
- Experience managing records retention schedules and disposition requirements
- Experience supporting Federal records compliance programs
- Experience conducting records inventories and archive transfers
- Experience supporting FOIA response and records processing activities
- Experience training personnel on records management procedures
