Responsibilities

Provides administrative and programmatic support of the unit and agency mission. Updates and maintains records, files, and automated databases. Prepares copies of relevant documentation, maintains files, emails documentation and answers telephone calls.

• Demonstrated ability to research and analyze data, reach logical conclusions, and prepare routine reports.
• Skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for office support.
• Experience inputting data into automated databases beyond Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills, prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, completing tasks timely.
• Effective communication (oral & written) with customers, employees, and others, answering questions and explaining information courteously.
• Recent experience providing customer service and administrative support in a professional office setting (word processing, filing, related duties).
• Ability to set up and maintain automated and manual filing systems.

• Knowledge of State Procurement and Electronic Virginia (eVa).
• Skill in Outlook, Access, Publisher.
• Recent experience using office equipment (computers, printers, copier, fax machine).
