Position: Administrative Assistant - Hall Honda Virginia Beach

Overview

Hall Honda in Virginia Beach is hiring an Administrative Assistant for its dealership. The position offers a starting pay of $15 per hour, with potential increase based on experience. The role requires a strong work ethic and dealership experience, including familiarity with CDK.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accounting records, data entry, bookkeeping, and other general accounting functions.
  • Support Sales and Service Departments as needed.
  • Compile and sort documents such as invoices and checks.
  • Perform daily deposit reconciliation.
  • Assist in proofing and billing deals.
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Open, route, and respond to incoming mail and correspondence; prepare outgoing mail.
  • Address customer complaints or refer them to appropriate dealership personnel.
  • Provide word‑processing support for the dealership.
  • File correspondence and other records.
  • Offer backup support for any clerical position as required.
  • Handle special clerical projects as instructed.
  • Maintain knowledge of basic dealership information to assist callers.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and tidy work area.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of dealership experience, including CDK experience.
  • General knowledge of basic accounting functions.
  • Ability to balance and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, computer software, internet usage, and basic math skills.
  • Proper phone etiquette.
