Security Clearance:
While security clearance is not required today, applicants must be able to pass a background screening and successful drug screening. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance may be required in the future.
Educational Requirements:
Position/Job Responsibilities- Provide business management support to Division General Managers (DGMs) to manage all contracts within budgets and to maximize profit achievement.
- Perform research and assist responding to potential financial issues with sound recommendations and action strategies
- Serve as the DGM’s primary interface with corporate finance, contracts, and human resources directorates.
- Maintain metrics to gauge the division’s progress against budgets and goals
- Assist in assessing the financial health of division contracts and budgets.
- Provide analysis and reports to the DGMs for managing financial results
- Serve as a resource to the division’s project managers in creating and monitoring project budgets and schedules
- Support new contract set-up in the accounting system
- Manage financial and contract tracking tools for invoices, charge numbers, fee structures, periods of performance, and required reports
- Maintain financial and contract records
- Develop contract EACs / ETCs / spend plans
- Assist with cost proposal development and preparing cost performance estimates for incremental contract funding
- Assist in developing financial performance forecasts and assist with indirect pool management
- Review time and expense collections for compliance with contractual requirements and company policies.
- Travel up to 10% may be required for official business at the company office in Washington, DC.
- Basic knowledge and experience with DoD contract structure, Navy (DON) preferred.
- Basic Costpoint experience is preferred, Costpoint budgeting module is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to work with managers and employees at varying levels in an organization
