Business Development Analyst

Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Business Development Analyst who will report to the VP of Business Development for Mission Solutions and provide key support to Mission Solutions' Business Area Manager, Operations Managers, and the Portfolio and Product Managers.

Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Business Development Analyst who will report to the VP of Business Development for Mission Solutions and provide key support to Mission Solutions' Business Area Manager, Operations Managers, and the Portfolio and Product Managers.

• Support account planning, identification, intelligence gathering, and competitive intelligence across the Missions Solutions portfolio of capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of a robust pipeline and specific opportunities.
• Research acquisition pathways and customer planning and budget documents.
• Support the development of briefings, demos, and proposals.
• Perform research to support the development of strategies and tactics to help grow the portfolio.
• Conduct research of competitors, market insights, customer demographics, potential partners and more.
• Providing daily assistance to the BD team in support of bid and proposal efforts.
• Maintain CRM and work with capture, proposal, and operations leads to ensure information is up to date.
• Support the development and delivery of internal reports to include weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to leadership and the board.
• Develop and maintain action trackers including email and meeting follow-up and action item tracking.
• Provide support and special oversight for special projects and initiatives.

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year experience in Business Development.
• Must have extensive experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must have the strong ability to organize and complete multiple tasks.
• Must be a self-starter that requires little supervision.
• Must be exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must have proven time-management skills, organization skills, and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a business development environment preferred.

• Must have an ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

• Occasional Travel – around 20%.

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
