Toddler​/Preschool Gymnastics Instructor

Overview

Life’s too short to not work someplace awesome! We are looking for someone that is naturally full of smiles, full of energy and always looking to have fun. We need an instructor that loves teaching children in a positive and loving environment.

You’ll join as a
Toddler/Preschool Gymnastics Instructor who takes the reins and is a leader of Serious Fun during our regularly scheduled classes.

Pay
:
Pay starting at $13.00-$16.00 per hour

• Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (we’ll train you how!)
• Create a warm, positive, and fun environment for the children each class
• Comfortable teaching to both children and parents (Our classes for 4 months–3 years old are parent-involved)
• Treat each class and each child as if it’s their first day – every week
• Maintain a fast-paced environment that keeps you moving; be prepared to run, roll, climb, jump, and swing. Children learn by watching you. You don’t need to be a top-tier gymnast, but you should be comfortable moving through the gym
• Comfortable lifting and spotting children up to 5 years old (training provided on proper technique)
• Encourage your inner child; preschoolers learn through play and imagination
• Demonstrate basic developmental gymnastics skills: forward roll, walk on a small balance beam, moving across gym equipment
• Provide outstanding customer service and a positive membership experience
• Create a warm, fun and educational environment for children and families
• Treat the facility with care; cleaning and sanitizing are important
• Availabile during the week and at least one weekend day with morning, afternoon, or evening options; scheduling is flexible
• Attend team trainings (held once or twice a month on Sunday evenings)

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must complete a tuberculosis test and a drug screening
• Background checks are required
• CPR/First Aid certifications are required
• Online daycare licensed training courses are required in addition to The Little Gym training

• You love having fun, encouraging kids and giving High-5’s; background in child development, physical education, coaching and/or gymnastics helps
• You live to serve and making others feel good makes you feel good
• Kids really like you, and their parents really like you too
• You would be voted most likely to be in a good mood by your classmates
• You love to have fun, but you know when to buckle down and do work
• Moving is more your speed—this is not a desk job
• You have experience in Early Childhood Development or a related field
