Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for Superintendents to support their ongoing growth in the Virginia Beach market.

This individual will directly oversee profitable installation of project work by directing co-workers and other trades. Superintendents will be responsible for singular large projects or multiple mid‑size projects and ensuring that all planning, safety, cost and productivity is being met on the job site(s). They will also be responsible for maintaining a professional work culture by interacting with all stakeholders.

This is a fully onsite role local that is tied to the Virginia Beach office but requires Superintendents to be at the project locations, which vary across the Tidewater region.

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Engineering OR 5+ years of relevant construction industry experience and training (ie. foreman or team lead)
• Knowledge of formwork and line & grade in concrete construction
• Strong communication and leadership skills; must be able to interact with and direct subcontractors/tradespeople.
• Ability to create manpower schedules
• Clean background and driving record; ability and willingness to travel across the region - Craft or trade certifications (NCCER, OSHA, ACI)
