Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-driven Commercial Door, Frame & Hardware Project Manager to lead installation projects from preconstruction planning through final turnover. This role centers on scheduling coordination, scope management, and field oversight to ensure door opening packages are installed accurately, safely, and in alignment with contract timelines.

The ideal candidate brings hands‑on knowledge of commercial door and hardware systems and excels in fast‑paced construction environments where multiple projects are active simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee commercial door, frame, and hardware projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Coordinate installers, subcontractors, suppliers, and delivery schedules
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and hardware sets for accuracy and completeness
  • Develop and manage project timelines and financial budgets
  • Track change orders, submittals, RFIs, and cost performance metrics
  • Serve as primary liaison with general contractors, owners, and internal operations teams
  • Monitor installation progress to ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Support seamless transition from procurement and submittals into active field execution
  • Maintain organized project documentation and reporting
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, door & glass, or related trades
  • Experience with commercial door, frame, and hardware systems strongly preferred
  • Strong scheduling, coordination, and cost management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines

    Professional communication and client‑facing leadership abilities
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, hardware schedules, and specifications
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to job sites as required
