Job Details

Join a dynamic and vibrant team in the construction industry as a Permanent Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall success of the project, from the initial planning stages through to the final completion and handover. This includes managing all aspects of the project, such as scheduling, cost control, contract administration, change order management, and subcontractor management.

The Project Manager will also play a critical role in risk management, quality assurance, safety compliance, construction estimating, procurement, and client relations. This role requires a strong leader who can develop and manage a high-performing team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, manage project scheduling, and oversee all aspects of the project to ensure it is completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage contract administration, including negotiating and reviewing contracts, handling change orders, and managing subcontractors.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Ensure quality assurance and safety compliance at all project sites, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct construction estimating and procurement activities, including sourcing materials and equipment, and managing vendors and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relations, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Provide effective leadership, fostering a positive team environment, and promoting team development.
  • Utilize Primavera P6 for project management and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all projects are progressing as planned.
  • Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience in construction scheduling, cost control, contract administration, change order management, and subcontractor management.
  • Strong risk management and quality assurance skills, with a solid understanding of safety compliance requirements.
  • Experience in construction estimating and procurement, with a proven track record of managing costs and sourcing materials.
  • Excellent client relations skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in team development and management.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and experience in maintaining project documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
