Description- Administers and enforces Lane's safety program, leading accident prevention efforts to achieve company and project safety goals.
- Conducts work area assessments and jobsite audits, focusing on hazard recognition, unsafe behaviors, and corrective actions.
- Develops, organizes, and implements safety initiatives and programs that align with Lane's standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentors, coaches, and evaluates safety employees, providing feedback and performance assessments.
- Develops and delivers training programs.
- Leads safety orientations, toolbox talks, and project-specific meetings to ensure effective communication across crews and subcontractors.
- Participates in regulatory inspections and investigations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and client requirements.
- Supports incident investigations and corrective action tracking to prevent recurrence.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree
CertificationsCHST, ASP, CSP preferred
Employment Conditions6 years of safety leadership experience
3 years of experience in heavy civil infrastructure
