Role Summary
Claims Service Specialist at GEICO’s Virginia Beach, VA office.
Compensation & SchedulingHourly rate: $22.34 - $26.46 (annualized $45,000 - $53,000).
Hybrid role: 100% in‑office training for 6‑9 months; thereafter 4 days a week in‑office and 1 day telework.
Responsibilities- Collect facts about the accident.
- Investigate claim details.
- Collect statements from involved parties.
- Assist policyholders during a claim to expedite return to road.
- Experience providing outstanding customer service, building trust, and increasing client satisfaction.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume call center environment.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and pursue various career paths.
