As a Member Services Representative, you will assist members with a variety of financial products and services, respond to inquiries, process transactions, and provide solutions that help meet their financial needs. This is a fast-paced, structured contact center environment where professionalism, adaptability, and a customer-first mindset are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

+ Respond to incoming member inquiries in a high-volume contact center environment

+ Deliver exceptional customer service through active listening, empathy, and problem-solving

+ Assist members with accounts and transactions including:

+ Savings and checking accounts

+ Consumer loans

+ Credit cards

+ IRAs and other financial products

+ Research and resolve member concerns using multiple systems and applications

+ Educate members on additional products and services that may benefit them

+ Maintain accuracy and compliance while handling sensitive financial information

+ Meet performance metrics including quality, attendance, schedule adherence, and member satisfaction

Required Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Strong communication and customer service skills

+ Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously

+ Ability to work in a structured, schedule-driven environment

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

+ Ability to remain professional and engaged during back-to-back customer interactions

Work Environment & Schedule Expectations

This position supports a 24/7/365 contact center operation, and flexibility is essential.

Important Schedule Information

+ Scheduled breaks and meal periods must be taken as assigned

+ Most shifts operate within a flexible one-hour start/end time window

+ Candidates must be available for a 9.5-hour daily availability window to accommodate scheduling flexibility

+ Expect to handle back-to-back inbound calls for most of your shift

+ Representatives may be scheduled to take calls for up to four consecutive hours before a break

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
