GENERAL UTILITY CLERK
POSITION SUMMARY: Receives and verifies Drivers deposits, paperwork and charge tickets. Prepares daily deposit, reconciles paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Completes daily route accounting.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.
- Receive and verify Drivers deposits.
- Verify Drivers paperwork to insure all charge tickets are received.
- Balance all Drivers’ deposits and prepare a daily deposit.
- Preventive maintenance on currency counters and coin sorters.
- Operates multiple line telecommunications console and routes calls to appropriate person or location.
- Greets vendors, customers and other visitors and assures that they are directed to the proper office.
- Provides sales and administrative support.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
Required:
- Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D certification and 2 years experience cashiering or equivalent job duties.
- Experience in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Preferred:
- Experience with confidential files, documents and other information.
- Experience with AS400.
