IRONCLAD is hiring a Part‑Time Associate Editor to support our production pipeline. This is not a “creative hobbyist” role. This is a production‑line operator inside a high‑performance system. You will be responsible for preparing projects so our senior editors can move fast and finish clean. If you like structure, speed, and clear ownership—this is for you.

REMOTE applicants will not be considered. We are looking for a dedicated team member to be physically present and integrated into our studio culture.

The Role
We’re hiring a Part‑Time Associate Editor to support our production pipeline.
This is not a “creative hobbyist” role.
This is a production‑line operator inside a high‑performance system.
You will be responsible for preparing projects so our senior editors can move fast and finish clean.

Core Responsibilities- Download and ingest podcast recordings immediately after sessions
- Locate and organize raw footage from our production server
- Identify all relevant assets (video, audio, B‑roll, photos)
- Maintain clean, consistent folder structures across all projects
- Label and name files according to IRONCLAD naming conventions
- Ensure projects are organized for immediate senior editor access
- Sync video + audio in Adobe Premiere Pro with precision
- Clean and enhance dialogue using Adobe Podcast tools
- Remove noise, improve clarity, and ensure broadcast‑ready sound
- Run Auto Pod to generate rough cuts
- QA all synced footage before saving and handing off
- Apply IRONCLAD color presets or perform manual correction
- Ensure consistency across cameras and lighting conditions
- Flag any visual inconsistencies before handoff
- Save and structure Premiere project files correctly on server
- Ensure zero missing or offline media
- Add markers and notes for senior editors
- Prep projects so they can be picked up and edited immediately
- Build string‑outs / rough assemblies for Originals content
- Organize footage to support narrative development
- Projects are clean, organized, and instantly usable
- Senior editors never waste time looking for assets
- Audio is clean and synced—no rework required
- Files follow a repeatable system every time
- You move fast without breaking structure
- Auto Pod
- Shared production servers / cloud storage systems
- Detail‑obsessed and system‑driven
- Fast, reliable, and consistent
- Comfortable working inside structured workflows
- Not precious about creative—focused on execution
- Able to handle volume without losing quality
- Part‑Time (approx. 15–25 hrs/week)
- Flexible schedule with deadline accountability
- Compensation based on experience
