Position Overview
Woolpert is hiring an experienced Project Architect with healthcare architecture experience to join our dynamic Healthcare Architecture Team. The candidate will be working on multiple healthcare projects and will be responsible for preparing drawings for permitting and bidding and would support full‑time in‑person or hybrid options.
We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.
What You Will Do:- Perform architectural assignments under general supervision
- Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations
- Create and modify architectural project designs and drawings; design review and project scheduling
- Prepare graphics, presentations, contract drawings, and regulatory submissions
- Organize and maintain project record information and drawings
- Coordinate with clients, project consultants, and engineers
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the design of architecture design of healthcare projects
- Bachelor's degree in architecture; master's degree a plus
- Florida Architectural License preferred, or NCARB certification
- LEED accreditation preferred
- Must enjoy collaborating with a design team
- Proficient in Revit
- Advanced‑level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to apply architectural principles to buildings/structures and their components or assemblies.
- Ability to handle designing and drafting assignments including site plans, floor plans, elevations, and sections required
- Self‑motivated to meet deadlines and improve process and deliverables
- Excellent communication skills required
- Ability to write reports and specifications required
