Senior Architect - Project Manager

Senior Architect, Project Manager Direct Hire – Onsite out of Virginia Beach, VA

Our client is a Virginia Beach-based architecture, interior design, and planning firm specializing in multi-family housing, commercial spaces, corporate interiors, and community-focused projects, holding licenses across multiple states.

They are looking for a licensed Senior Architect to lead a portfolio of projects from concept through closeout while driving the client relationships and new business that fuel our growth.

As a focused studio, they offer something larger firms cannot: visible leadership, direct access to Principals, and a real path toward Principal-level responsibility.

In This Role, You Will Lead four to six concurrent projects from programming through construction closeout, owning quality, schedule, and budget. Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, with proactive communication across every phase. Drive business development: generate new contracted work, lead proposals and interviews, and build a healthy pipeline. Coordinate consultant teams, lead construction administration, and conduct QA/QC reviews that protect design intent.

Mentor two to three junior architects and contribute to firm standards, training, and process improvement. Manage your portfolio in Monograph and track business development in Incept CRM.

• Licensed architect with eight to twelve or more years of progressive experience.
• Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects across all phases.
• Advanced Revit and BIM coordination skills, with a strong command of building codes and construction methods.
• Demonstrated business development and client relationship success.
• A confident communicator and mentor who elevates the people around them.
