F​/A-E​/F Contractor Instructor Pilot

ESP seeks a full-time F/A-18 E/F Qualified Contract Instructor Pilot (CIP) to provide instruction in associated simulators.

• Brief and debrief students in classroom and flight simulator environments.
• Deliver lectures in instructor-led classrooms.
• Evaluate students within flight simulators.
• Operate full-motion or non-motion flight simulators.
• Prepare executive summaries post-course.
• Manage course updates and communicate recommendations to the Curriculum Development Department.
• Obtain and maintain NATOPS qualification as a CSI (contract simulator instructor).
• Administer check rides for NATOPS/Instrument qualifications.
• Report to the Site Manager.

• Must have a current TOP SECRET Security Clearance; US citizenship required.
• Be or have been an F/A-18 E/F NATOPS qualified Pilot within the last two years and a former Weapons School graduate with operational experience in the past five years.
• Minimum of one fleet tour and 800 flight hours in the F/A-18 E/F platform.

• Four-year college degree required.
• Knowledge of DOD aircraft operation rules and regulations.
• Successfully complete annual NATOPS exams.
• Understand F/A-18 E/F mission, crew procedures, tactics, threat systems, and weapons employment.
• Renew NATOPS certification with an F/A-18 D/F Pilot qualified to give evaluations.
