• Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities to enhance the intellectual, physical, and social development of children.
• Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages children's exploration, creativity, and self‑expression.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress, behavior, and development.
• Assess and monitor each child's individual needs, strengths, and areas for improvement, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Promote positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive classroom community.
• Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, meals served, progress, and development, and prepare reports as required.

• At least six months experience working with preschool‑aged children in an educational setting. (not required for aids)
• Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and the ability to differentiate instruction accordingly.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred); will need to be fingerprinted for background search and Central Registry Search.
