Adjunct Faculty - Chemistry

Regent University is currently seeking Christian scholars to serve as Adjunct Professors of Chemistry for the College of Arts & Sciences. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to Christ-centered teaching and excellence in the physical sciences.

Position Overview

Virginia Beach, VA (On-campus)

* Employment Type:

Part-time, per-semester contract

Key Qualifications

* Academic Credentials: A Ph.D. in Chemistry is preferred. Applicants with a Master's degree in Chemistry (or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry) will be considered

* Spiritual Alignment:
Must subscribe to the University's Statement of Faith and embrace its mission as a Christian institution

* Experience:

Prior college-level teaching experience and proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) are highly preferred

Expectations include

* a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning

* a record of or potential for academic scholarship

* the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses

* facility with online instructional technology

* a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
