Position
Regent University's School of Communication and the Arts seeks a full‑time, professional‑track Artist in Residence specializing in Technical Theatre at our Virginia Beach, VA campus.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in technical theatre.
- Participate in administration and coordination with programs across the School and in the community.
- Lead scenic design for the Regent University Center for Performing Arts theatrical season.
- Lead academic and co‑curricular initiatives, including development of new curriculum as the program grows into a next‑generation incubator for real‑world training and cutting‑edge performing arts.
- Entrepreneurial scholar holding an appropriate terminal degree.
- Significant professional portfolio.
- Evidence of successful teaching.
- Clear and compelling Christian commitment.
- Dedicaton to Christ‑centered teaching and learning.
- Record of or potential for academic scholarship.
- Ability to teach at all levels.
- Familiarity with online instructional technology.
- Willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
