Essential Functions and Responsibilities :Weekly Youth Experience
- Lead the vision, planning, and execution of engaging weekly youth services.
- Create environments that are welcoming, excellent, and spiritually impactful.
- Continually innovate to reach students and inspire them to invite friends.
Teaching & Worship
- Serve as the primary communicator and / or develop a dynamic & diverse teaching team.
- Partner with the Family Ministry Worship Director to create meaningful worship experiences that align with the overall vision of each service.
- Lead students toward authentic encounters with Jesus through biblical teaching, worship and ministry moments.
- Build intentional relationships with students and identify emerging leaders.
- Champion Youth Life Groups by consistently compelling students to engage in biblical community, while partnering with—not overseeing—the Life Group ministry.
- Create clear next steps that move students from attendance to discipleship.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, and develop volunteers who are passionate about investing in students specific to serving within the weekly youth services.
- Foster a culture of ownership, excellence, and multiplication among leaders.
- Collaborate with church staff and family ministries to create unified discipleship pathways.
- Lead branding, communication, and promotional strategies that connect with students and families.
- Use social media, events, and creative initiatives to expand the ministry’s reach and invite new students into the community.
- Oversee church wide camps, retreats, and outreach events as strategic opportunities for evangelism and growth.
- A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for the next generation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience building teams, developing volunteers, and creating engaging environments.
- Creative, relational, and collaborative with a heart for discipleship and outreach.
- Students eagerly invite friends and consistently engage in weekly services.
- Youth gatherings are marked by excellence, authenticity, and life change.
- Students regularly connect to Youth Life Groups and grow in biblical community.
- Volunteers are equipped, empowered, and multiplying their influence.
- The ministry develops a reputation for reaching students, making disciples, and raising the next generation of leaders.
