Instructional Support Teacher / Special Education

We are seeking self-motivated and organized individuals to support and implement programming that encourages elementary school students to be confident, work hard and meet their academic goals. • Consistent Monday–Friday schedule
• 7.5 hours per day (5.25 hours on adjusted dismissal days)
• K-5 Special Education Teacher reports to the same school everyday
• Follows the VBCPS school calendar
• K-5 Special Education Teacher do not work when students are not in school

• Remainder of the 2026/2027 academic year

· Weekly pay – direct deposit or pay card

· $26-$31/hour based on experience and credentials

Minimum requirements:

• Associate's degree or higher
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to engage and build relationships with students
• Highly organized and able to complete documentation on time
• Self-motivated, able to work independently
• Reliable transportation to scheduled school site
• Preferred:
  Teaching and/or tutoring experience; curriculum planning and instructional design experience

• Consistent weekly schedule
• Ongoing methodology training, coaching, and support from our dedicated team
• Paid orientation about program policies and procedures so you understand school culture and requirements
