F/A-15 Aircraft Technician Job Description
As an F15 Aircraft Technician, you will inspect, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, service, and modify aircraft and related support equipment. You will also maintain aircraft forms and records, perform crew chief and maintenance staff functions, and supervise tactical aircraft and related support equipment repairs.
Responsibilities- Inspect and maintain F-15 aircraft and related support equipment.
- Troubleshoot and service aircraft systems and components.
- Modify aircraft and related support equipment as needed.
- Perform crew chief, expediter, flight chief, line chief, and maintenance staff functions.
- Supervise repairs of tactical aircraft and related support equipment.
- Conduct launch and recovery operations, and perform periodic inspections and scheduled maintenance of F-15 aircraft.
- Execute fueling, defueling, and aircraft servicing operations.
- Implement corrosion control procedures and maintain aircraft ground movement operations.
- Manage aircraft flight documents, technical orders, and publications.
- Proficiency in launch, recovery, and inspection of F-15 aircraft.
- Experience in aircraft servicing, fueling, and defueling operations.
- Knowledge of power plant, avionics, and environmental systems of F-15 aircraft.
- Proficiency in maintaining aircraft documentation.
- Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Three years of relevant experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Dual qualifications in hydraulics preferred.
- Strong experience in aero repair, crash recovery, and aircraft rigging is highly desired.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00/yr.
Salary is tax free if working in country for 11 months. Housing is provided. Medical and dental benefits provided. Holiday and PTO - 12 paid holidays and 30 days of PTO (accrued at 2.5 day per month). End of Service award - 15 additional days of pay.
