- Reliable GPS integration for accurate positioning, timing, and tracking
- Robust, maintainable embedded code that performs under electrical and environmental constraints in an automotive or urban environment
- Electrically compliant designs that meet certification and regulatory requirements
- Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems
- Design, implement, and maintain OTA update mechanisms, including bootloaders and fail-safe recovery
- Integrate GPS modules and protocols (NMEA, GNSS) into embedded systems
- Interface firmware with electrical components such as power systems, sensors, and communication modules
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and fault isolation using lab equipment
- Collaborate with electrical and systems engineers to ensure reliable hardware–software integration
- Support certification, compliance testing, and production readiness
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Active electrical certification (PE – Electrical, CEE, or equivalent)
- 3+ years of embedded systems development experience
- Strong embedded coding skills in C/C++
- Experience implementing OTA update strategies on resource-constrained devices
- Hands‑on experience integrating GPS/GNSS hardware and software
- Ability to read and review electrical schematics and component datasheets
