Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated engineering professional to support the Platform System Integration Engineering team based in Mt. Laurel, NJ, with work performed in Virginia Beach.
Responsibilities- Develop key test planning products utilized by waterfront test teams conducting system tests of the AEGIS Combat System.
- Support test programs for both U.S. Navy and international customers.
- Provide engineering support to waterfront test teams during ship availability and test execution activities.
- Participate in working groups focused on defining and improving waterfront test programs.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful integration and testing efforts.
- Support occasional domestic and international travel as required.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative engineering professional who thrives in mission-focused environments. You bring strong analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively across technical teams and operational stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent/related field.
- 1+ years professional experience in engineering field.
- Experience with at least one team-based project showing skills in teamwork, technical writing, and presenting.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally as required by the supported program.
- Ability to attain and maintain a Secret DoD clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
- Knowledge of system engineering processes and test planning methodologies.
- Ability to balance time against multiple assignments and due dates.
- Detailed technical knowledge of the physical and functional characteristics of the Aegis Weapons System elements.
- Proficient in the use/working knowledge of DOORS, WBS Schedule Pro, MS Office.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
