  • Ability to attain and maintain a Secret DoD clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

The Work Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated engineering professional to support the Platform System Integration Engineering team based in Mt. Laurel, NJ, with work performed in Virginia Beach.

In This Role, You Will
  • Develop key test planning products utilized by waterfront test teams conducting system tests of the AEGIS Combat System.
  • Support test programs for both U.S. Navy and international customers.
  • Provide engineering support to waterfront test teams during ship availability and test execution activities.
  • Participate in working groups focused on defining and improving waterfront test programs.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful integration and testing efforts.
  • Support occasional domestic and international travel as required.

  • This position requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally as required by the supported program.
  • This position requires the obtain and maintain a Secret DoD clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
  • This position is based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of system engineering processes and test planning methodologies.
  • Ability to balance time against multiple assignments and due dates.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of the physical and functional characteristics of the Aegis Weapons System elements.
  • Proficient in the use/working knowledge of DOORS, WBS Schedule Pro, MS Office.
