Senior Project Manager - Water Business

The Project Manager position is a high‑profile leadership role serving as part of the Water / Wastewater business leadership team. You will manage successful delivery of water‑related infrastructure projects in the multi‑million‑dollar range.

• Manage the successful delivery of water‑related infrastructure projects.
• Serve as part of the Virginia Beach collaborative team.
• Lead project performance reviews, budgeting, invoicing and payments.
• Oversee engineering managers, develop project performance goals, and ensure implementation.
• Interact with assigned clients, promote Black & Veatch through client and community activities.
• Support overall market business plan, client engagement strategies, and leverage internal resources.
• Active involvement with internal project team and owner project representatives.
• Team development, mentoring and coaching on performance.
• Identify and develop new candidates to expand the team.

• 15+ years of active water/wastewater experience with demonstrated leadership experience in the Virginia Beach market.
• Professional Engineering License;
  Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline.
• Understanding of budgets and financial metrics.
• Contract negotiation skill including knowledge of terms, risks, pricing and payment terms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements.

• 15 + years of active water/wastewater experience with demonstrated leadership experience in the Virginia Beach market.
