the electrical/electronics engineer will ensure the operational functionality of system releases by focusing on all aspects of system design and engineering/integration. The electrical/electronics engineer will work with program stakeholders, development and support teams to develop and integrate secure capabilities.

responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• providing on-site engineering, support, and research of sigint/io/ew/cso systems
• identifying, de-conflicting, and orchestrating integration of innovative technology being developed throughout the community
• planning, testing, and providing technical expertise to the identification of innovative technology within the community
• evaluating vendor capabilities to provide required products and services
• analyzing, interpreting, and generating engineering schematics and change notices
• performing system and performance modeling
• conducting root cause analysis
• designing hardware with respect to component/assembly analysis, specification, integration, and testing
• providing rf system/subsystem analysis and specification review
• providing engineering support to the process of integrating novel solutions to existing programs of record (por)
• providing transition support of newly identified and innovative technology to existing pors

• bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
• six years of full-time professional experience working as an electrical/electronic engineer
• four years in professional experience in each of the following skill-sets/disciplines:
  • performing systems engineering activities on cryptologic carry-on equipment (coe) or electronic warfare (ew) programs, involving fully integrated tactical systems for military intelligence programs ashore and afloat
  • demonstrated engineering experience on u.s. Navy and warfare systems and their systems integration process as it relates to distribution systems impacts, mission, performance, and interoperability impacts
• three years of experience professional experience in each of the following skill-sets/disciplines:
  • coe/ew concepts and operations deployment
  • radio frequency (rf) design and analysis (e.g. Propagation prediction measurement, receiver modeling, analysis, and design, detection and signal characterization processing, non-cooperative demodulation processing for signals of interest, and antenna array modeling)
  • operating systems experience in windows and linux
• requires a ts/sci clearance
