Position summaryThe Design Software Support Agent within the Design Center of Excellence (DCOE) plays a role in advancing design technology, standardization, and operational excellence across the organization. This position is responsible for assisting with the stable operation of AEC design software within the organization. This includes assisting with the installation, configuration, maintenance, support, and optimization of designated AEC design software platforms (such as Autodesk and Bentley ) across the enterprise.
The agent will also analyze and resolve userdesignsoftwareissues ina timelyandaccuratefashion.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Assist, implement, andmaintainpolicies, procedures,andassociated plans fordesignsoftware administration.
- Assistin migratingprojects to newersoftwareversions ofdesignapplications as needed.
- Set up, configure, andstartdesignsoftware, suggest appropriate hardware, and address relevant requirements.
- Assistusers by providing technical support and troubleshootingwithindesign applications.
- Assist with enforcement ofdesignstandardsandbest practices,regardinglayering, dimensioning, text annotations, BIM/CIM, and adherence to client standards.
- Assistwithpreparation of training sessions and teaching materials for advancing knowledge throughout the organization.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Certificationor equivalent working experience in industry-standard design software, or an degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a design-related field
2 yearsminimumexperiencewith Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley Open X Design products or other engineering, architecture or construction software packages.
Working knowledge of design and plan preparationprocedures, best practices, and tools.
Preferred ExperienceExperience with Autodesk Revit, various Autodesk products,Open Roads Designer , Open Bridge Modeler , or various Bentley products
Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, computer science, technology, or related field.
Proficiency in Bentley and/or Autodesk CADD products
Proficiency in Project Wise and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud(ACC)
Working ConditionsWork is performed in a general office environment. It is generally sedentary but may require occasional standing and walking. The lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
