Systems Engineer
Quattro Consulting, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Water Instructor to support FORSCOM Logistics Training Cluster. Our team develops the Program of Instruction and provides training to include units from all US military services and components, foreign military personnel, and military auxiliary students with a water purification, storage, and distribution mission. The training is primarily resident training at FT Story, VA.
Both MTT and Virtual Training are geared toward a unit’s individual mission and cover topics such as, but not limited to, Set-up, Operation, Storage, Safety, and Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS)/pre-operational checks for Army Water Distribution Systems assigned to the program.
This position will end on or about August 13, 2027 with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Provide hands‑on training to enhance proficiency on water purification, storage, desalinization, and distribution equipment. Hands‑on practical training is augmented by the use of simulations technology for some courses.
- Provide support to train Water Purification Teams, Crews, Platoons, Detachments, and Quartermaster (QM) Water Supply Companies in the operation of the Tactical Water Distribution System (TWDS) and Water Storage and Distribution System (WSDS).
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Physical Demands
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
- Employee isoften required to sit and use their hands and fingers tooperatea computer.

- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Travel
- 0-10% / Minimal travel.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years technical experience working with water production and distribution systems.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating and delivering engaging instruction using visual aids and comprehensive training materials.
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Quattro Consulting will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) years technical experience working with Army water production and distribution systems.
- Prior Army MOS 92W, Navy Utilities man (UT), Air Force AFSC 3E4X1.
