Position OverviewWe are looking for a high-energy Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will work alongside engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.
Responsibilities- Development of design criteria for plumbing systems.
- Layout and design of plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage.
- Development of final design documents including specifications associated with these systems.
- Coordination with other disciplines.
- Professional Engineering License.
- At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems.
- Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of plumbing systems.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely.
- Software experience in Revit.
