Job Description Mission Technologies provides mission-critical engineering and technical services to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, National Security, Aerospace & Defense, and commercial customers worldwide. We are seeking a Systems Engineer Lead to support enterprise-level systems engineering efforts across the full system lifecycle. This role requires strong technical leadership, broad systems engineering expertise, and hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including modeling languages and tools.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, supportability, and effectiveness analyses.
• Conduct analyses across all phases of the system lifecycle, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Translate customer or product requirements into logical and systematic system solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Perform functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies.
• Lead the development and maintenance of MBSE artifacts, architecture products, and system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or CATIA Magic Suite.
• Develop system architectures using SysML, UML, and UAF.
• Apply extensive technical expertise and sound engineering judgment to solve complex problems.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams, presenting technical approaches and findings.
• Support and lead integration, verification, validation, and test events.
• Mentor junior engineers in MBSE methods, modeling best practices, and systems engineering fundamentals.

Minimum Qualifications

• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
