Finance Manager

Ardent Global Logistics is a growing, relationship‑driven freight forwarding and trade advisory firm focused on helping customers do common things in uncommon ways. We are seeking a Finance Manager who can both run the day‑to‑day financial engine and provide forward‑looking insight to leadership.

• Own monthly close, financial statements, and accuracy of the general ledger
• Manage AP, AR, cash application, and working capital visibility
• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to support operational decision making
• Oversee revenue recognition and shipment level profitability within logistics operations
• Improve processes, controls, and reporting structure as the company grows
• Support pricing strategy, customer profitability analysis, and deal reviews
• Partner with leadership on cash planning, banking relationships, and financial strategy

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or service‑based business preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals
• Comfortable building models and working directly with leadership
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and process‑minded
• Able to translate financial data into clear business insight
• CPA or finance related degree preferred but not required
• Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to take ownership
