Overview
The Bank Teller is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while accurately processing financial transactions. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers and plays a critical role in maintaining trust, accuracy, and compliance in daily banking operations.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing
- Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accuracy in all transactions
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and address customer questions or concerns
- Identify customer needs and refer clients to appropriate banking products or services
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with opening and maintaining customer accounts as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and protect customer financial information
- Support branch operations, including answering phones and assisting team members during high‑volume periods
