Position Overview

Underwriter II – responsible for analyzing personal and business credit reports, bank statements, background checks and other business documentation. Collaborates with sales teams across diverse industries.

• Analyze personal and business credit reports, bank statements, and other documentation.
• Conduct background checks and gather data for underwriting decisions.
• Research counter party information and provide insights.
• Communicate with sales teams, managers, and merchants in written and verbal form.
• Assist in negotiating transaction terms and credit structure.
• Maintain high analytical and organizational standards in a fast‑paced environment.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong sense of accountability.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Ability to evaluate industry trends, understand market dynamics, and present recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a rapid‑paced environment.
• Experience achieving metric and quality performance targets.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of financial principles, statement analysis, and regulatory requirements.
• Effective at clear communication and adaptability.
• Experience with administrative tasks and professionalism.

Competitive base salary range: $55,800–$86,100 (dependent on location, skills, and experience).
