Financial Aid Coordinator

Job Description

The Financial Aid Office is seeking a highly motivated, student‑focused, and organized Financial Aid Coordinator to join our team. This full‑time position supports the daily operations of the Financial Aid Office and assists prospective, current, and former students and families throughout the financial aid process.

• Provide guidance regarding financial aid eligibility, application procedures, verification requirements, financing options, and available federal, state, institutional, and private aid programs.
• Review financial aid applications and supporting documentation to determine eligibility, package and revise financial aid awards, and assist students in resolving outstanding financial aid requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for students and families through in‑person, phone, and email communication, delivering exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced enrollment environment.
• Coordinate the University’s Federal Work Study program, maintain compliance with federal and institutional regulations, monitor student eligibility, support outreach and orientation activities, and assist with general office operations within the Center for Enrollment Services.
• Occasionally attend evening or weekend enrollment events, information sessions, and orientation programs as required.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Previous experience in financial aid, higher education, student services, or a related field is preferred.
