* This position is contingent on contract award *

• Must possess SECRET security clearance.

• Coordinates with supported commands and prepares required documentation to facilitate movement of munitions in support of NSWG-2 and its component commands.
• Provides detailed technical advice and assistance pertaining to the movement of munitions via all modes of transportation. Uses technical publications to facilitate shipment priorities.

• In-depth knowledge and experience related to the duties of a shipping clerk, with at least three (3) years’ experience within the past five (5) years. Ordnance HAZMAT shipping experience.
• AMMO‑62 Technical Transportation of HAZMAT certification for shipping (preferred). If not previously certified, employee must be prepared to complete the AMMO‑62 HAZMAT Course upon soonest available opening.
• Documentation of previous Ordnance Qualification/Certification Board Membership.
• Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Forklift license up to 6,000 lb capacity.
• Requirement to obtain and check out government vehicles / CESE for official duties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurate data entry into multiple databases.
