Job TypeFull Time, Exempt – Contingent Hire position contingent upon a potential award of a new U.S. Navy contract to QED Systems.
Salary Range$73,741/year - $105,549/year
Job DescriptionIndividual will serve as the Q.E.D. Systems Contracts Manager in support of U.S. Navy Planning Yard requirements, involving ship maintenance and modernization, ship configuration management, ship Availability Planning, and fleet and waterfront support. The Q.E.D. Systems Contracts Manager will report to the Q.E.D. Systems Program Manager (PM), and will be responsible for all contract administration matters, including subcontract administration. The Q.E.D. Systems Contracts Manager will also be responsible for maintaining contract files and preparing contract reports.
Requirements/ Skill Sets
- Minimum of 10‑years of experience in contract administration related to Government contracts.
- Familiarity with Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus, and Time and Material Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (/IQ) type contracts.
- Experience must include subcontract administration and processing vendor purchase orders.
- Knowledgeable of Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) and Government Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree, Business Administration
Security Clearance / Naval Facility AccessU.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and be able to access U.S. Navy ships, military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
