The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role is essential to infection prevention, resident comfort, and overall facility appearance in a healthcare setting.

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, offices, and common spaces.
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces in accordance with infection control and facility protocols.
• Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash, biohazard materials, and recyclables.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and personal protective equipment as needed.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and special cleaning requests.
• Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machinery safely and correctly.
• Follow all OSHA, CDC, and facility infection‑control guidelines.
• Assist with terminal cleaning of rooms after resident discharge or transfer.

• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long‑term care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control in a nursing home environment is a plus.
• Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
• Commitment to compassionate, resident‑centered care.
