Join Our Evidence-Based Postgraduate FellowshipInner Peace Counseling is launching an interprofessional Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Postgraduate Fellowship for early-career clinicians in Social Work, Professional Counseling, and Marriage & Family Therapy who want strong clinical training, high-quality supervision, and real-world outpatient experience—without being thrown into private practice alone.
This fellowship is designed for clinicians who want to build confidence, competence, and licensure hours in a supportive group practice while working with diverse outpatient populations.
Who This Fellowship Is ForThis position is ideal for post-master’s clinicians who:
- Want structured training and support
- Are pursuing Virginia licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT)
- Value evidence-based, ethical, and relationally grounded care
- Want to grow into confident outpatient clinicians
Fellows gain experience across three core outpatient areas, with one primary emphasis:
- Serious Mental Illness (SMI):mood disorders, thought disorders, higher-acuity outpatient care
- Trauma & Sexual Trauma:trauma-informed, consent-based, evidence-based treatment
- Child & Family Therapy:children, adolescents, caregivers, and family systems
Caseloads are intentionally structured to support both depth and breadth of clinical experience.
- Weekly protected didactic training day (Tuesdays, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
- Ongoing individual, dyadic, and/or group supervision
- Supervision aligned with Virginia board requirements for licensure
- Emphasis on:
- Ethical decision-making
