Overview
Sentara is hiring a Full-time 340B Pharmacy Program Manager.
LocationSentara Park - Virginia Beach, VA
StatusFull Time (40 hrs/wk)
Shift / HoursDays; 8am–5pm
Responsibilities- Oversee the internal auditing functions of the 340B program management and deployment of pharmacy resources for delivery of services across the system
- Manage external 340B audits at each hospital to ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage the yearly attestation process with 340B Authorizing Official and Primary Contract
- Oversee the 340B internal and external responses to respective audits
- Oversee the 340B oversight program with Legal, Compliance, Divisional leadership, Finance, and Pharmacy leadership to review audit findings and regulatory changes
- Evaluate new opportunities for 340B based on national practice trends
- Develop policies and procedures that govern 340B program actions across the system
- Manage the 340B software splitting software program(s)
- Align pharmacy leadership and staff around clinical, operational, and regulatory strategic imperatives surrounding 340B program compliance
- Assure Medicaid sites have the correct billing set up
- Align pharmacy use of technologies across the system
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards and maintain a constant state of regulatory readiness for the organization’s 340B program
- Collaborate with finance on cost reporting, DSH rate calculation and monitoring
- Implement new requirements as deemed necessary by the federal government or HRSA
- Identify IT improvements and work to implement in the various IT systems to minimize risk of non‑compliance
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 years of pharmacy experience required
- 1 year of management experience required
