As a Banquet Cook, you'll help bring memorable events to life by preparing high-quality meals for weddings, conferences, banquets, meetings, and special events.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook banquet menu items following recipes and presentation standards.
• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and production schedules.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately and delivered on time for each event.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and food safety standards.
• Follow sanitation, labeling, storage, and FIFO procedures.
• Work closely with chefs, banquet staff, and stewarding to ensure seamless event execution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
• Minimize food waste while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with event breakdown, food storage, and kitchen organization.
• Support fellow culinary team members as business needs require.

We're seeking someone who:

• Has 3+ years of culinary experience (hotel, banquet, catering, or high-volume kitchen preferred).
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Takes pride in quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Understands food safety and sanitation standards.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Has excellent organization and time management skills.
• Is available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on business needs.
• Must be available to work holidays, as banquet operations include holiday events and functions.
• Hotel, banquet, catering, or conference center experience is highly preferred.

This position requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds (with assistance when needed). Work is performed in a commercial kitchen environment with hot equipment, cold storage areas, and moderate to high noise levels.
