Modern hotel in the heart of Virginia Beach's Town Center business and entertainment district

Our Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning all assigned guest rooms, supplying our guests with perfectly clean rooms that meet our company and brand standards. Each guest room is cleaned completely, safely, and in a timely manner.

• Replenishes supplies, such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
• Cleans all areas of guest rooms including bathtub/shower, toilet, sink, floors, mirrors, etc.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Makes beds with fresh linen.
• Polishes metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• If applicable, cleans and organizes patio furniture and balcony.
• Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Replaces light bulbs and remote batteries if needed.
• Abides by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
• Reports for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform, in accordance with company policy.
• Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
• Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to communicate in English, verbal and written.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
