Overview

We are seeking an IT Facilitator to support technology adoption, training, and day‑to‑day user assistance across the firm. This role is highly interactive and hands‑on, with a strong emphasis on in‑person engagement at the Virginia Beach Town Center office and weekly travel to the Chesapeake and Suffolk locations. The ideal candidate excels at guiding users of all technical levels, resolving issues in real time, and helping drive successful use of the firm’s technology platforms.

By enhancing user experience and enabling productivity, the IT Facilitator supports the firm’s operational excellence within a fast‑paced legal environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver in‑person training sessions for attorneys and staff on firm technology, applications, and workflows
  • Provide one‑on‑one technical assistance to users facing software or hardware challenges
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues during live meetings, conference room setups, and daily operations
  • Travel weekly to Chesapeake and Suffolk offices to provide onsite IT support
  • Act as a primary point of contact for technology‑related inquiries and training needs
  • Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities for improved processes, tools, and user efficiency
Qualifications

Required

  • Demonstrated experience providing in‑person technology training and end‑user support, ideally within a legal or professional services setting (Law firm preferred)
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Net Documents, and Carpe Diem (experience with Perfect Law integration is a plus)
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively in real‑time scenarios
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical users
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel weekly to Chesapeake and Suffolk offices (mileage reimbursement provided)
