The Design Software Support Agent within the Design Center of Excellence ( DCoE ) plays a role in advancing design technology, standardization, and operational excellence across the organization. This position is responsible for assisting withthe stable operation of AEC design software within the organization. This includes assisting with the installation, configuration, maintenance, support, and optimization of designated AEC design software platforms (such as Autodesk and Bentley ) across the enterprise.

The agent will also analyze and resolve user design software issues in a timely and accurate fashion.

Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

• Assist, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for design software administration.
• Assistin migrati ng projects to newer software versions of design applications as needed.
• Set up , configure, and start design software, suggest appropriate hardware , and address relevant requirements.
• Assist users by p rovid ing technical support and troubleshooting with in design applications .
• Assist with enforcement of design standards and best practices,regarding layering, dimensioning, text annotations, BIM / CIM, and adherence to client standards.
• Assist with preparation of training sessions and teaching materials for advancing knowledge throughout the organization.

• Perform other related duties as assigned

• C ertification or equivalent working experience in industry-standard design software ,or a degree in e ngineering , Information Technology, or a design - related field

• 2 years minimum experience with Autodesk Civil 3D , Bentley Open XDesign products or other engineering, architecture or construction software packages.

• Working k nowledge of design and plan preparation procedures , best practices, and tools.

• E xperience with Autodesk Revit, various Autodesk products, Open Roads Designer, Open Bridge Modeler , or various Bentley products

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, computer science , technology, or related field.

• Proficien cy in Bentley and / or Autodesk CADD products

• Proficien cy in Project Wise and / or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)

Work is performed in a general office environment. It is generally sedentary but may require occasional standing and walking. The lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
