US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities:
Oversee physical, personnel, and information security for three shore commands, five ships, and a variety of detachments located around the world.;
Advise program managers on implementation of security policies and standards of classified programs to ensure compliance of proper security application.;
Develop, staff, and publish command security policies and procedures within the framework of Federal, Department of Defense, Department of Navy, and other military services policies and procedures.;
Conduct preliminary access interviews and prepare, coordinate, and submit requests for security access to the appropriate adjudicative authorities.;
Provide guidance to command personnel on foreign disclosure and release of documents outside of the Intelligence Community.
